Do Windows Update: latest Edge plays fine.
Make sure you do get two latest major windows updates - some corporate policies don't allow installing major updates.

I have

OS Version: 10.0.17.134 Build 17134
Microsoft Edge 42.17134.1.0
Microsoft EdgeHTML 17.17134

When I visit
http://umediaserver.net/umediaserver/de ... layer.html
I get a black video stream with a spinning busy indicator. Eventually, JavaScript error: SCRIPT12030: WebSocket Error: Network Error 12030, The connection with the server was terminated abnormally

Everything works fine in Chrome.

FireFox 61.0.1 (64-bit) fails as well with error
"ICE failed, add a STUN server and see about:webrtc for more details"

You can ignore this from Edge:
"JavaScript error: SCRIPT12030: WebSocket Error: Network Error 12030, The connection with the server was terminated abnormally"
Edge is just too paranoid about graceful closure of websocket connection.

Does apprtc work in your Edge and Firefox?
https://appr.tc/

Make sure WebRTC is not prohibited in these browsers; there are some browsers-specific settings to prohibit WebRTC.

Also, for Firefox, what does about:webrtc show?

Nothing is clear from that log. Seems like no candidates are received from the server.
Our demo server uses port 443 for WebRTC, maybe that port is somehow blocked or being monitored by some kind of antivirus software?

Does apprtc work?
https://appr.tc/

Also, does this demo work with your Edge and Firefox?

FireFox now works with Unreal Demo page after turning off company http proxy. Not sure why this is necessary since Chrome was able to access the page using the proxy.

As for Edge, https://appr.tc failed to load remote video stream. It can only access and show on board camera stream.

For the github https://webrtc.github.io/samples/src/co ... ction/pc1/, peer connnection test, all browsers succeed as it is just connecting to itself

Did Edge break compatibility with WebRTC?

Very nice find for Firefox!
It is strange indeed that Chrome works but Firefox didn't - that probably means that there is a setting in Firefox to use the HTTP proxy, but Chrome doesn't use the proxy.
It should work with or without https proxy though...

As for Edge, they never had a decent WebRTC support, but they are catching up. On latest Windows 10 with all updates, Edge works OK on all our machines.
