Live Server on Windows 10

Various experience with applications based on Live Server

Well, I got there eventually!

It seems that newer versions of ffdshow have had some MPEG4 codecs removed so I reinstalled the original version I had used (3572). Then using the VFW Config tool, I simply selected MPEG4 and MP4V from the drop-downs, saved the changes and everything now works.

I can only assume that either the initial installation was corrupt or that the settings needed overwriting once to get them to register in Windows 10.

Hope this is useful to someone.

All you need to do is to open ffdshow video configuration and select MP4V encoder.

Yes, that's really all it took but I'm pretty sure it didn't appear in the drop-down list after the initial install.

Anyway, it's all working well now so on with development. Thanks once more for your help.
