Watched the videos, yes, ffmpeg does an impressive job. They must be using GPU to get this performance.

I think the bounding factor for Live Server for 1080p 30fps is a realtively slow CPU on your computer - what if you try the same test on the stronger machine?

By the way,
"static live broadcast", the live server only capture and encode when video is requested. Very sweet :D

is also true about dynamic live broadcasts. That's how the Live Server was designed to work.

By the way, what is your video source exactly, feeding to Live Server? Is that transcoding from some encoded signal?
We have no issue encoding H.264 1080p 30 fps on our machines...
