I guess I want to suggest you to let people play this stream with our Unreal Streaming Media Player.

Create a simple web page with a player download link, and put a UMS link for this stream on that web page.
People click on a link, player pops up and plays this stream.

The beauty of this solution is Multicast delivery: while using Flash it would have been 40 unicast streams (if 40 concurrent people watch it), with our player it will be a single stream that everyone in your LAN can watch! 40 streams can eat all your bandwidth! Of course, your UMS link will need to specify Multicast delivery: UMS://MULTICAST........
Another feature that you can use in this setup, is internal authentication - only users that you create on the server side, will be able to watch.

hi admin,

problem is the UMSplayer has a dependency on OS codecs while Flash provides them natively.
Clients are Win Embedded which don't include h264 codec.

Yes...

Wait a sec..Win 7 Embedded comes with h.264 decoder, just like plain Win 7, isn't it?
I guess it depends on what features you included in your image.

Well, my only suggestion would be to push ffdshow installation to client machines; our FAQ page
http://www.umediaserver.net/umediaserver/faq.html
has a link to download stable and reliable ffdshow installation.
