Problem with Panasonic AW-HE40S camera

Postby Cyril » Wed Sep 06, 2017 8:59 pm

Hi everyone,
This is my first time using the Unreal Media Server, and I am running into some issues trying to have it working with a Panasonic AW-HE40S IP Camera.
My problem is that after doing the RTSP rebroadcast settings, I have the following error message when trying to view my live video wit the Streaming Media Player application:
Client does not support this RTSP server video media type/format

I can successfully play the RTSP stream using VLC, and the following codec information are detected:
Screen capture: https://ibb.co/bt4M6v
Stream 0
Type: Video
Codec: H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (h264)
Resolution: 640x386
Display resolution: 640x360
Frame rate: 25
Decoded format: Planar 4:2:0 YUV
Stream 1
Type: Audio
Codec: MPEG AAC Audio (mp4a)
Channels: Stereo
Sample rate: 48000 Hz

Below are details about the camera:
- Camera: Panasonic AW-HE40S
- Operation manual: http://pro-av.panasonic.net/manual/pdf/ ... ns(SQW0456)_E.pdf
- Streaming detailed specs: ftp://ftp.panasonic.com/provideo/awhe40 ... w-ue70.pdf
- URL used:
rtsp://【IP】/mediainput/h264/stream_1
up to
rtsp://【IP】/mediainput/h264/stream_4
Each stream from 1 to 4 can be individually configured from the camera web interface (resolution, frame rate)
this is a screen capture of the streams setting page: https://ibb.co/h1HxeF

Could anyone help me solve this issue?
I can provide more details if needed, as well as doing packet capturing if it can help finding what is wrong.
Thank you very much in advance!
Cyril
