Video Codec not supported by Flash

Postby terence » Mon May 28, 2012 6:02 am

I try to use the version 2 Flash Player to play audio and video files.
It can play mp3 without problem.
But when playing video, it displays the error "Video Codec not supported by Flash".
I tried to play "avi" (high quality), "avi" (low quality), "flv", "mp4". Only "avi (high quality)" can be played. The others show the codec error.

Can anyone help?

p.s. I use Format Factory to do format conversion-http://www.pcfreetime.com/

Video encoding must be avc1/h264, not any other codec.
If it is then Format Factory does bad job.

I have never seen mp4 file that produce this error.

Try "Any Video Converter" for your file convertions.
