Hi,
I'm using Live and Media servers (v5.5) installed in the same machine. Preview works. However, when displaying the stream with Streaming Media Player (v5.0), it stops after 5 mins or so with the error message, "Media server dropped connection. Finished Displaying From Local Buffer." shown. That is strange as the stream is defined as Real-time, but not buffered.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

| This is "Streaming files" forum. Are you streaming files? Real-time is for live straming only. |

Hanz is right. Try to write to the appropriate forums.
There can be many reasons for this happening.
One thing is for sure - Live Server stops sending data.
Are you running the Player on the same machine where Live Server runs?
What is your video source?
