|
|
I've created a player using custom controls to keep UI consistency. Everything works fine on my home system, but when I test it on the office network, IE7 appears to handle the first seek request well, but then locks up if a second seek occurs within a short space of time (few seconds). Play, Pause, Stop &c. all work fine, this only seems to happen with seeking.
The problem only occurs in IE7 (haven't tested IE6, but Firefox has no troubles), and both client and server are running XP Pro. We're just streaming PCM audio at the moment.
Is this likely to be something to do with their network/IIS settings? |

Does the lockup happen when you stream other files,
test.avi for example?
Are you using TCP or HTTP delivery?

| I'm not sure about test.avi, will ask them to test that today if possible. Apparently, the skip error occurs for both TCP and HTTP delivery. |
