Unreal Media Server

I am using Media Server 5.5, Live Server and generating WMV3 stream. This stream is played successfully on my desktop using Windows Media Player 10. However, When I am trying to playback the said stream on Windows Mobile 5 Emulator, I am getting following error messages with “Unreal Media player for Mobile“.

"No Video decoder found to decompress this video stream. Codec Info WMV3"

I understand that WMV3 coded is already present on Device emulator as it is having Windows Media Player 10 (Mobile) pre-installed on it.

Please help.

Dear Admin,

Thanks for providing relevant link.

I am using MP3:128 kbps as Audio encoding format (As supported by Unreal Live Server) as opposed to GSM 6.10 Audio Encoding.
Also, I am trying to play live video (and not a already stored media file)

Further help on resolving this problem will be highly appreciated.

Dear Admin,

Even after updating the Audio codec to WMA (From originally MP3), I am getting same error message.

Please help urgently.

Did you try streaming just WMV video or WMA audio? Also try real hardware device instead of emulator.

BTW, Media Player 10 for mobile does not include DirectShow WMV/WMA decoders.
