hello!
i'm not able to use wpl with windows media player
all mp3 is working and and test.avi in media root also
but not any other video
but it works with vlc and i'm not able to seek in the files with it
what can i do? |

Your "other video" - what are these files?
Are they DivX-encoded video?
You will get a black screen with latest DiVX (v6) decoder, when played via MMS from Unreal Media Server.
This is a known issue, related to DivX DMO decoder v6.
Note that if you switch to previous version of DivX decoder (v5), everything will play OK.

okay it work with divx 5 but is it normal than only divx worfks ?
if yes, i'd like to know why? |

What do you mean?
WMV/WMA, AVI, MPEG-4, mp3 - all these file types are supported.
