You mean decoder? Yes it does exist.
It is the same decoder that decodes WMV content as well.

I am trying to play a stream on our IPAQ. I get a no audio decoder found and seems to be looking for MP42.
I found an MP42 codec: mpeg2fix.inf and mpg4c32.dll but these don't seem to load on windows mobile 5... |

Excuse me Mike,
what kind of reasoning can lead from "no AUDIO decoder found"
to mp42 idea, which is a video decoder?
Your problem is audio encoding, what is it?

Well...I'm sure it is an audio encoder problem. The error I get back from the mobile media player indicates codec info: MP42.
Not sure if I should load an updated MP codec and/or how to figure out which audio codec I should try to load... |
