Technically that's not an error. It's more of a helpful hint to inform you that an Unreal Media Server Virtual Folder that has been "exported" as an HTML file won't allow you to stream from a remote PC.
You must first manually edit the HTML file and change "localhost" (see above example) to your server's IP address. _________________ Scott |

oops (example)
| Code: | | <br>UMS link for the playlist via TCP unicast: <A HREF="ums:\\TCP:localhost:5119\playlist\Movies">Movies</A><br> |
Do a Search/Replace of all instances of "localhost" with your server's ip address _________________ Scott |

I have made that you have told
<Html>
<Head>
<Title>Content of the virtual folder 111</Title>
</Head>
<Body>
This page displays the content of virtual folder: 111<br><br><font color="red">
Warning: All the UMS links have "192.168.0.12" as a server name.<br>To play media on other computers please replace it with your server IP address.
</font><br><br>UMS link for the playlist via TCP unicast: <A HREF="ums:\\TCP:192.168.0.12:5110\playlist\111">111</A><br><br>
Content of the folder:<br><br>
<table border="1">
<tr>
<td>
Казино Рояль.avi</td>
<td>
UMS link: <A HREF="ums:\\TCP:192.168.0.12:5110\111\Казино Рояль.avi">Казино Рояль.avi</A></td>
<td>
Size: 1433.63 MB; Time: 02:20:18. Video - XVID; 169.2 kByte/s; 640x288; 25 Frames/s. Audio - MP3; 15.6 kByte/s; 48.0 kHz; Stereo.</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>

<td>
UMS link: <A HREF="ums:\\TCP:192.168.0.12:5110\111\Ночь в музее.avi">Ночь в музее.avi</A></td>
<td>
</td>
</tr>
</table>
</Body>
</Html>
and there is a following
This page displays the content of virtual folder: 111
Warning: All the UMS links have "192.168.0.12" as a server name.
To play media on other computers please replace it with your server IP address.

Now your clients will be able to click on UMS links and play, as long as they can access to 192.168.0.12

SUGGESTION: Do all of your testing on the Unreal Media Server PC to help eliminate networking issues.
Verify the following:
1. You must have the Unreal Streaming Media Player software installed on the Client PC?
2. Disable any firewall blocking of port 5110 on the Unreal Media Server PC. _________________ Scott |

All works as thanks but there was a question, whether when the client starts to look film, buffering from 100-400 kByte\s but it brakes, the player not at has time to buffer a stream, though a network of 100 Mbit

Check your network - if it is very busy with other traffic then you will see this.
