|
|
UmediaServer 5.0 on Windows 2003 SP1.
In my Windows Event viewer I get the following:
| Quote: | | The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( UMediaServer ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: Frame Grabber Initialization failed for resource 0@2776. Error = 0x8FFF0528. |
The resource is sometimes different, but this error happens a lot. How can I configure the server so this error does not occur or suppress the logging of it?
I am streaming all dynamic live streams.
Thanks. |

This event log entry is created every time when a user tries to play a dynamic live source which is not connected to media server, so the user gets the error "media server can not connect to camera/live source".
You can not turn the logging off.

| OK, thanks. I never would have guessed where the error was coming from based on the data LOL. |
