When you set up a virtual folder in Media Server Configuration the subfolders of that folder are displayed in the right hand pane and you can browse up and down the structure, but the web player only seems to display the top level of the virtual folder to play. Am I missing something here and is there a way to play files in the subfolders from the player? It would be a really useful thing to have.
Thanks in advance

Yes, the player only displays files in the folder.
If you want to play a subfolder, just play this subfolder as a playlist.
For example, if you have mediaroot/subfolder1,
specify "mediaroot\subfolder1" as a playlist name.

Hmmmm... not quite as useful as it could be then. I have all my videos (movies, tv shows by season etc) in a folder structure and I'd like to be able to browse and play them through 1 web page interface.
So why give the ability to browse up and down the folder structure in the virtual folder configuration when that doesn't reflect what you can do with it from the player? |

| One can easily build up such WEB interface and use either Unreal player ActiveX control or stand-alone player. You need to know basic HTML though. 8th grade student should be able to do it... |
