Good day folks, I am new to this solution and was wondering if it would be something viable for us to use on a recent customer installation.
I work for a Surveillance and Security System Integrator and we have just finalized a residential installation of 36 IP based cameras running to a video server internal to the customers network.
We have the current set up running through a software solution by OnSSI but would like to add the capability of viewing the cameras via HTML with automatic authentication.
Is this something that can be accomplished with Unreal Media software and if so does anyone have samples and/or instructions on how to best approach this. Moving back to the cameras, are there any specific criteria on the types of cameras that are compatible with the Umedia solutions?
Thank you for your time and best regards,
Andres Armeda

Yes, this can be acheived with UMedia software.
You can view streams sent by Unreal Media Server in web page, with Windows Media Player control embedded, our Unreal Streaming Player control embedded.
You need to use IPCamSourceVideo and UAxisVideo component along with Unreal Live Server and Unreal Media Server.

IP camera must support capturing of still JPEG image.
Take a look at our IP cameras that stream MPEG-4 hardware-encoded content directly to Unreal Media Server.
