Is V5 better in terms of regular server to umediaplayer streaming, or has this been left unchanged?

What (further) performance enhancements are there? Thanks!

I would say if you are streaming Files, then there is nothing major in v5; you can live with v4 (although the client side is still better v5).

But if you are streaming Live Sources, then it's strongly recommended to upgrade Live Servers, Media Server and player to v5.
